Product Swap! Super Cute School Themed Centers!

16.15

I have been so excited about this for weeks, and it's finally here... the Magical Product Swap!!!

I was paired up with the wonderful Vickie Plant from Mrs. Plant's Press!

She has so many fabulous units in her store I had a hard time figuring out which one to pick!  Ultimately I settled on her Let's Go to School Centers!

Okay, I can read your mind... "Really? Back to School Centers? In October"  YES!  Don't let the title of this product fool you... these centers are school themed so you can use them all year round!!!

This set is a whopping 127 pages!

Obviously once it was printed I laminated it all!

Next was the cutting part... and I have to make two points about this picture:
  1. Cutting out lamination is so much better when you wear pajamas!
  2. My couch's recliner is the perfect spot to put the stack of lamination while you cut it out!!!

Obviously in the picture about you can see just how cute the centers are!  This set comes with 6 ELA centers...

...and 7 math centers!!!

Here are the ELA Centers!!!

This is an adorable rhyming game!

This is a super cute alphabet matching center!

This is all about beginning sounds... and it's my favorite of the ELA centers!

This is a super cute way to focus on sorting based on a word's beginning sound!

This is another beginning sounds activity!  And it includes a bubble map... I love thinking maps!!!

This one I'm going to use next week when I introduce syllables... perfect timing!

Now for the math centers!

This one has tens frames for numbers 1-20!  It has a number of activities you can do with these cards... my favorite is the super cute idea of putting them in a pocket chart, then hiding the picture of the children behind one of the numbers.  Have your students name the numbers to see if they can guess where they're hiding!  And you can give clues like... they're hiding behind a number that is more than 11 but less than 15... oh the possibilities!!!

This is an adorable center for counting!  I love how the colors of the borders and the squares match the colors of the pictures!!!

This is another adorable counting center!

This next numbed dice center I took a ton of pictures of!!! I love it!

Here is one of the die all put together!

I actually put to together with velcro!  I put little transparent velcro dots on each of the gray tabs, then I put the other side of the velcro on the back of it.  I know it's hard to see in the picture, but there's a piece of velcro at each of the edges that doesn't have a tab on it...

I reinforced each of the pieces of velcro with superglue just to be safe... and folded it up!  This way I can fold the dice when I want to use them, and store them flat the rest of the time!

This is another supercute center for number order!

This is a super cute game for shape recognition!  I used a brad and a paperclip to make the spinner.  So fun!

Here are the two adorable options for tens frames!

These centers are just absolutely adorable and I love them!!!  Vickie was also nice enough to share her Dr. Seuss centers with me... and they are just as cute!!!  Be sure to check those out as well!

Much thanks to Jessica for hosting the product swap!  Be sure to check out her blog as well!
